PACT: Helping Children with Special Needs

PACT: Helping Children with Special Needs serves young children with medical and developmental challenges who need the assistance of skilled, experienced professionals during their most formative years in order to reach their full potential.

By offering a wide range of services ranging from specialized childcare to physical therapy to parent training and counseling, PACT is able to address the physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs of the children and provide support for their families. Our plan is to extend our reach and improve care for children and families throughout the state of Maryland by sharing our knowledge and expertise through training, research and community-based services.

PACT is located in the Windsor Mill section of Baltimore County, Maryland, and serves families from throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area. It is a private, non-profit organization, affiliated with Kennedy Krieger Institute and is a member agency of the United Way of Central Maryland.

*The internship is in the Therapeutic Nursery designed to serve homeless children.
