Christian Appalachian Project (CAP)
The Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) is an interdenominational, non-profit organization committed to serving the people in need in Appalachia by providing physical, spiritual, and emotional support through a wide variety of programs and services.
One such program is the CAP summer camps, which are designed to provide campers with physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual challenges in a recreational environment. The children in attendance range in age from 6 to 17 and most come from low-income families. Counselors will engage in outdoor and indoor activities throughout the day with children.
